Mission
Pubrabbit is an application for finding the best bars in the city and planning the perfect night out with curated guides.
It also offers free drinks when you visit a new bar, and repeated visits earn rewards for the customers.
Painpoints + Idea
Due to COVID19, local bar and pub scene changed, many closed or struggled to get back their customer base. We wanted to give locals and tourists updated information where to go, and offer them free drinks if they are willing to try out a new place or venture a bit further out of the city center.

We realized it's not enough to offer guides and tips, but we need to reward our users to keep coming back and use the application. Our location based app made it possible for users to check in and earn rewards for frequenting places.
Process
I started the process by creating user stories to uncover painpoint for our personas and defining the most common use cases. I felt that it was essential to understand exactly what our user's common behaviors were when looking for bars to meet with friends for the evening. I was also curious what specific factors motivates our personas to frequent a bar regurarly.

I also created lightning demos, and sketched the ideas of competitors. After doing so, I pivoted my focus to defining the necessary functionality of the screens of the app. The solution sketches were discussed by the team, and we moved on to the prototype and testing phase.
Finished Designs
After the initial tests, I moved on to high-fidelity designs. Since the application would be mainly used by young users, I chose vibrant colors on dark background to have a friendly but easy to use look&feel for our brand. Here are the final designs.
